The foundation is a non-governmental think tank which has won leadership positions in the analytic field within ten years of professional activities.

It was set up assist in creating civil society through intellectual and information support of democratic transformation processes and economic reforms in Ukraine, its integration into the European instrumentalities, practical implementation of international, national, regional and local programs aimed at improving socioeconomic status, meeting and protecting legitimate social, economic and creative interests of people.

The basic activities are:

- independent sociological research and forecasting trends of political, social and economic systems, development of recommendations for their reforming;

- increasing public activity of various social groups, arranging interaction between the mass media, NGOs and public authorities;

- training of specialists in analysis, forecasting, strategic planning and monitoring political and socioeconomic development.
